Care Support has shown its dedication to excellent care by signing up to a national Department of Health scheme.
The Social Care Commitment initiative is the adult social care sector’s promise to provide people who need care and support with high quality services.
The commitment aims to increase public confidence in the care sector and raise workforce quality in adult social care.
Care Support has made its commitment as an employer to sign up to the Social Care Commitment to lead by example for its employees– so the whole of our workforce works towards improving quality and raising standards.
The commitment is made up of seven ‘I will’ statements, with associated tasks, to help put the statements into practice, and each commitment focuses on the minimum standards required when working in care.
Usman Sheikh, Director for Care Support, said: “Care Support champions the delivery of care of the highest quality; care which is personalised to each and every Care Support customer. We’ve signed up to the Social Care Commitment to demonstrate that excellent care should, and can, be delivered as standard.”
