Who are Care Support?

Care support is an independently run care agency with nearly 20 years experience providing compassionate care and extra support solutions to hundreds of customers living in the community and within Extra Care Schemes every week. Care Support delivers practical, personal and social care services to people living in their own homes and people living in Extra Care housing.

What is Extra Care housing?

Extra Care housing provides people who need additional support, but do not want to live in long term residential care, the opportunity to live in a safe and enabling environment that encourages independence and involvement in the wider community while giving access to a full range of care and support services. Care Support prides itself on being a trusted care partner in Extra Care Housing.

We will work with you and our partners to tailor services around your needs and goals, developing support plans that are outcomes-focussed that help you to lead an independent and fulfilled life in Extra Care Housing. What areas does Care Support cover?

Care Support delivers care in people’s own homes and delivers care and support services as the on site team at a range of Extra Care Schemes across the South East. We do however, intend to provide our services nationwide, so please feel free to contact us

Care Support is independently run and directly employs all members of staff. Will I have a say in the care provided to me?

Care Support is passionate about helping you to live your life, your way. Every customer and their families are treated as care partners, and all decisions made about the support you receive, including the type and frequency of support, is made with you: not for you. Any changes or issues you may have with the service you receive is discussed with your key support worker.

What safeguards are in place to protect me?

Our team of experienced and qualified staff undergo a rigorous vetting procedure including the 2 references and obtaining an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Care Support is registered with the health and social care sector regulator the Care Quality Commission.

Do I need to pay for care?

Your local Social Services department can assess you to determine whether you need to pay for all or part of your care and support needs.

Even if you are not eligible for financial support, you are still entitled to advice from your local Social Services department about how best to meet your needs.
