- Practical support: supporting customers to keep their home clean, their clothes washed and ironed, handling mail and helping customers pay bills and helping customers with shopping.
- Social support: supporting customers to access their favoured social opportunities, or providing companionship.
- Personal support: helping customers with their daily personal routines, including getting washed and dressed and managing medication.
Care Support is experienced in delivering care services to people with a wide range of needs:
We believe that with the right care and support, people with a physical disability are able to live as independently as possible. With over 17 years’ experience working for customers with physical disabilities, we understand that central to enhancing customers’ independence is providing care services based upon the principles of dignity, safety and respect.
At Care Support, we work with many people who are affected by dementia, including Alzheimer’s Disease and Vascular Dementia. With the number of people living with dementia on the rise, we have equipped our care team with the skills and knowledge to support customers to live well with the condition.
End of life care, or palliative care, is a personal and sensitive topic that the Care Support team approaches with empathy, dignity and respect. We work with every customer and their families to understand their wishes when it comes to end of life care.
